A simple way to add more value to your meetings
Take detailed notes during the meeting. Then share them with participants.
The benefits are three-fold:
1. You do your business partners a favor, which they will likely reciprocate down the line.
2. You can track execution and hold people accountable more easily.
3. You own the message.
Point number 3 is crucial:
Of course, your meeting notes need to be as unbiased as possible. But sometimes, people move on to the next point before reaching a conclusion. It’s up to the note taker to clarify those decisions.
